ORIGIN
OF THE LINES
The
hybrid is conformed for the lines derived of the variety TUXPENO
cream it plants it lowers, which was obtained of the national program
of corn and the lines of the population 22 of cimmyt.
This
lines, they were derived of the signal populations, through endogamy
processes and successive selection during five (5) years.

RESULTS
AND DISCUSSION
Test
of hybrid experimental year 1997
In
this evaluation of the hybrid one of SEFLOARCA 108, obtained a yield
of 8433 kg/hr inside the five cultivations experimental more outstanding
in this test, it is important to point out that this cultivation
was selected based on its yield and considering the agronomic characteristics
of the plant.
For
the year 2000, in an evaluation carried out by the Foniap Portuguesa,
where 17 were evaluated hybrid of the cimmy with three witness,
between them the hybrid of SEFLOARCA; this hybrid one obtained a
yield of 8230 kg/hr, enough similar to the obtained one in San José
of Smutty State Guarico.
REGIONAL
TEST
In
the regional test of corn of the year 1998 and in ten (10) locations;
Sefloarca 108 obtained a yield average of 6304 kg/hr with 12% on
the witness.
